here are my fender vents. They are out of an 81 Z28. I haven't seen anyone here have a set of fenders like the set you posted. Do a search and a ton of threads will come up about fender louvers/vents
I found them at www.up22.com.

i was considering buying them- but ive dealt with UP22 befor and had nothing but problems, my friend had problems too- my hood came cracked down the cowl, with 4" of the rear corner broken off, the underside looks bad on them too- and they want you to pay to ship it back so they can fix it- then you pay again to ship it back, i wouldnt deal with them- go do what 84customZ28 if you want them, his look amazing.
Those gill openings are from the second gen Trans Ams!
I have sold abunch of them to Mini-Truckers for their vehicles!
You just cut a hole into your fender, and bondo them in!
Or, replace the whole fender with the fiberglass one, as the fender vents themselves are fiberglass, and bond together well!
I like the early Z-28 vent on the thirdgen camaro! To me, the camaro is more squared, while the Birds are alittle bit more rounded!
If you are after a set of the second gen vents, email me at:

They look good, but I haven't done it.
Hope this helps,
George

if anyone decides to do it...do not bondo them in. There is really no proper way to do it unless both parts are made from the same material. The fender vents I used were from an 81 Z28 and they are made out of aluminum.....while the fender is made of sheet metal. I wanted to make them "seamless" but wasn't able to because you can not weld aluminum to sheet metal (unless you braze them, but they would warp bad). If you could get a set made out of sheet metal....that would be the best and safest way. If you use bondo to make them seamless...they will crack in no time.

Yea 84's look good, so do flynlow92rs's i was planning on em but my dad has a 81 Z and after comparing the cars, i realized the fenders on ours are alot smaller back there and though tit would be cluttered looking. The top pic almost looks like a early 2nd gen t/a vent,,,but smaller.
Also had alot of friends that had problems with up22's products, have had a friend on his 3rd hood from them, but instead of going and getting a harwood like i told him too he keeps being stupid

BTW, I think it cost me about $60 bucks...just the price of the fender vents.
