Map pocket
Can anyone tell me the proper method of removing the document pouch connected to the right side of the dash. 83 T/A.
Im a little concerned about just pulling it but if I should,just tell me.

i have taken these map pokcets numerous times, and each time i have used a long screw driver and carefully lifted it off using the driver as a lever. Not once have i cracked the backplate.

im removing my map pocket too, my car's an 88 but im putting one in from an 84, anyone know if the swap is do-able.
here's a pic of the one in my car now (gray) and the black one i bought.
to me it doesn't look like its gonna fit??!!??
