aah red!

does anyone know how much it would cost for a complete grey interior to replace a red one in a third gen? if so where should i look? im new to the third gen world and trying to buy one but red interior is a no go

i tried ebay and couldnt find door panels maybe ill look for a cheap one without an engine and part the rest of it out

I changed mine from grey to black, and I think the black is harder to find than grey. I paid about $50 for all of the interior plastic parts at a junkyard, but for most of the carpet, I just dyed it. Probably won't work for red interiors. The door panels shouldn't be too bad at junkyards, either.

My suggestion: check the yards unless you see a steal on TGO. I bet you'd be able to find them pretty cheap there, and usually they just need to be cleaned.

where are you located?....i am looking to pull my charcoal grey interior real soon...seatbelts and all..the seats will stay until i find better ones

I threw out an entire gray cloth interior in great shape becuase no one wanted it. Plastic, seats, carpet, doorpanels, EVERYTHING! Sorry.

thanks for the responses guys and gals! i guess ill get into a more indepth search when i actually get the car which is kind of sketchy at the moment, my parents see a 16 year old and a v-8 and then they see a tree lol but im tryin my hardest to convince them thanks again

Thats how most parents are they just want to baby you as long as they can. Dont sweat it all of us have gone through it at one time or another unless we had parents that were into sports cars or just dont care. Don't give up but don't push them over the edge they might not let you get any car at that point

My parents said I had to get a car with 4WD so I went out and bought my firebird the next day. I've had less accidents than anyone else in my family because I know driving in the snow is dangerous and they thing 4WD means you can go anywhere.
