91-89 Steering column swap?

Hey hows it going. Found lots of useful info here, thanks for the great site! I searched for my answer but didn't find my exact questions and wanted to be sure.

I just bought an '89 camaro last week. The steering column has several issues(wiper/signal/high beam switch jacked, broken case, etc...) and it seems easier to just replace the whole thing.

#1:I can get a '91 coulmn complete, cheap. Will this be a direct swap? FYI They are both tilt.

#2: I'm planning on unbolting the linkage in the engine compartment, undoing the brace under the dash, disconneting the wires and just pulling out the whole thing, steering wheel and all. Any problem with that? I know that I'll have to swap the lock cylinder out with mine to enable the VATS function.

I'm Just wondering if there are any other issues or differences between the '89 and '91 that would complicate or prevent this.
