i think they are too wide to fit into the stock pod and look somewhat normal, i will measure them and get pics when i get back from new orleans tomrow (live in mass)

Heater controls are controlled by a wire. The way the wire is pulled in a thirdgen is completely different than the way it is in a 4th gen, so something has to be fabbed so they'll work together. I'm not positive, but I think you'd have to get the whole cable from a 4th gen and swap it in. I was going to do a HVAC control swap also, but kinda hit a wall when I couldn't figure out a way around this, so now I've got a 4th gen HVAC laying around somewhere in my garage.

just make a little adapter for the heater box for the 4th gen to fit onto... thats what i did

but i also have a 4th gen dash so the fitting isnt a problem, but the 4th gen is way to wide to fit the factory pod with out hacking it all up

tell me how to make the controls work and i'll fit them. i'd like to do it as well but i can't track down the actual controls let alone how to make them functional. even relocating the stock unit would be nice.
