finished my door panels
I just finished my door panels. I began with all tan panels, and finished with them being charcoal. I took the top trim pieces off the panel to replace them and I removed the polished trim piece as well. I dyed both the vinyl and carpet to match the new seats.

Thanks for the comlements guys. I used "DupliColor Vinyl and Fabric Color." They make 2 different shades of gray that I know of; medium gray, and charcoal gray. I used the charcoal gray for the vinyl parts, and the medium gray for the carpeted portion as well as the rest of my carpet. This stuff works fabulously but you must clean the surface very well. I wiped the entire panel down with laquer thinner to be sure it was free of any dirt/oil/etc. I laid down about 3 or 4 light coats on the vinyl. The carpet required about 5 coats. I found it helps quite when spraying the carpet if you: spray, brush, spray, brush, etc. This keeps the carpet from getting stiff and also allows the paint to get down deeper in the carpet. I'm very pleased with the results.
