New GTA's and body question

Hey Guys and Gals. I thought I would share my latest purchase with you. Some of you may have seen these cars for sale. I ended up buying them and plan on getting both of them up to par. Please forgive me for their "grungines" they are dirty. The specs are as follows:

Black 1988 GTA Notchback
Rebuilt 350 Carb'd with some sort of Comp Cam. Not sure what the specs are but it runs good and has a nice lope to it.
Rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit
Digital Dash
4th Gen seats
91-91 nose (will be replaced with a correct 85-90 nose)
Not for sure if it is a true notchback car but the notchback is a GM piece.
As you can see if needs some work and some research done.

White 1987 GTA
Rebuilt 350 TPI, whatever they did they did it right because it runs awesome!
Rebuilt 700R4
4th Gen seats
New R134 AC

My question is has anyone attempted to fix a hole in one of these covers? I will search the threads some more but do you think mine can be saved or would it be easier to track down another one?

A little bright to see the interior

Do you have the RPO sticker inside the center console?

Do you have the rear seats with the high headrests?

Do you have the VIN sticker on the underside of the notch? Does it match your VIN?

Outside of the RPO sticker, there really is no way to know for sure unless you contact http://www.phs-online.com/ to have them pull the VIN out of their database. You can't tell by just looking at the VIN, it isn't a special VIN, like the TGO Tech Article incorrectly states.

With a converted fuel system, updated different front clip and seats, i would have to wonder if the notch wasn't another bolt on.

Do you want to keep it that way or convert it to SD....maybe it would be easier to find the parts for that....there is always hope of a swap meet LoL

GOOD NEWS!!! The black car is a true Notchback car. The VIN on the hatch matches the car!!! Unfortunately the original GTA seats and Notchback rear seats are gone. The previous owner put in some charcoal cloth 4th gen seats. They look good but kinda clash with the tan interior. Oh well...
I am faxing in my order to PHS for all the RPO's on both cars since the labels have been taken out of them.
I don't know if I want to keep the black car carb'd or find a TPI system for it. I do have a full Edlebrock Hi-Flo setup minus a throttle body but I want to put that on my IROC in the future. Once I get the brakes fixed, clean and detail the car, and get the interior matching I will sell it. The white car runs great just need to get the little body things taken care of.

Unfortunately PHS won't be able to provide you with all the RPO codes. They can provide confirmation that it is an original Notchback. i know this as i have 3 notchbacks and have the PHS documents for them.

By the way, can you submit some pictures of your Notchback? i'm collecting pictures of Notchbacks on one of my small websites.
