New interior coming together - opinions?

I just got my new carpet from stockinteriors.com today, so I spent a better part of the afternoon giving life to my interior again. The carpet was a PITA to install, seeing as how there were no holes cut for anything, but it came out really nice. I'm very happy with the new look, any opinions?

(first picture is how I left it this evening, second is self-explanatory, third is the way it used to look)

The seats are great though... so comfortable.

Hah, yeah, I need to put the top part of the console back in. The lower and upper half of the console were recovered in black vinyl. That carpet that was originally on there was pretty ugly.

No leaks. I'm in the middle of an LT1 swap, and nearly everythign that needed it was torn down or replaced at the same time. All of the leaks that I had are now gone, and I made sure of it for the exact reason you said.. I'm putting a good amount of money into my interior and I don't want rain to make it smell like mold in my car.

lol gr89rs, but hey You had to use some silicone where the t-top bar met the front and back of the car didnt you? I had to. I also had to put something under the glass when installed so it would bring it up tight to the t top bar ugh

Haha yeah, I had to do the silicone.

gr89rs, they're APC seats. I know APC is a bad word here, and I've heard it's kind of a crapshoot with them, but the quality is pretty good and they look great. The big logo sucks, but they're really comfortable. Plus, I got a great deal on the pair on eBay.

Looks good, love the center console wrapped in vinly. The Camaro emble makes it look a little old school which is cool. Seats look good to.

Did you put any other sound proofing/insulation other than what came with the new carpet?

Yep, the entire floorpan was covered in truck bed liner before the carpet went in.

Hey Astoria, this is off topic a bit but I was thinking of an Lt1 swap someday- the LG4/TH200 combo's got to go! Do you need a special rad for the LT1 swap? You have your car looking nice! I also think the old-school Camaro badge finishes off the dash perfectly.

Yeah, I got a can of that stuff that you brush on, then finished off with the spray stuff. It sealed off the interior nicely, and dampens the sound a little bit. Someone else on here did it first, that's where I got the idea.

Dead83- Nope, AFAIK the stock radiator is just fine, but I've heard that the dual fan setup is preferred. Check with the engine swap boards, it's infinitely helpful.

Thanks for all of the compliments! I haven't seen anyone else use the 4th gen emblems or the dash emblem that I have, so I'm glad everyone seems to like the touch as much as I do.

Yeah, my interior started out grey about 5 months ago, so the grey seats that came with the car are definitely not going back in. I'm planning on getting those 4th gen seats that are black and grey that everyone seems to have, or maybe just getting straight black. Haven't decided. But I'm definitely putting some in, since I already put the 4th gen seat belts in.

Funny story, the guy messed up the shipping calculator thing on eBay, so when I calculated it, it only came out to $60 to ship both. He later realized his mistake, but was nice enough to take responsibility for the error, and I got off with $60 for shipping.

f355bird- I sent you a PM.

The seats are really comfortable, but its a little bit of a PITA to mount the brackets. But it's really worth it.

Nice job man! Can we get a closer shot of the vinyl covered console? I have a nice junkyard console in the bedroom, been thinking of naugahyding it myself, would like to see what it looks like already done!
