I need some pictures from people who have done this before. I dont want to pay 100 dollars for a ac delete box so was thinking of just riviting a piece of sheet metal over the hole.
I would like to see some pictures to see how it looks. And did you guys put rtv silicone around the edges to prevent water from comming into the interior. Thanks.

Here's mine. Wasn't really all that difficult to make. I basically just used some galvanized steel I had. I took out of the AC evaporator, cut out the basic shape with a dremel tool, drilled holes to use the stock screws, cut a hole for the blower resistors, bent it, finished the edges and sanded it down, painted it with high-temp paint, put some light silicone on all the mounting surfaces, and bolted it in.
I like it just for the fact that I can reinstall the AC if I ever want to.

I have a secret, S10s used the same thing. Not sure on the years, but there are a ton of those vehicles floating around as well.
