How do they stay on there? Just squeeze fit? Does it cover any of the gauge up? Looks good...might count me in!

I bet it'd look even better if you painted the stock guage bezel black.

Press fit. Just press 'em in until they're flush and you're done.

I'm 6'3" and at my seating position, the hash marks are about half covered up, but all of the numbers are fully visable. I couldn't go any thinner without worrying about them being to thin when people press them in.

Yup. That was originally my plan, but now I'm working on a machine turned flat metal panel to go behind the bezels, similar to how the second gen TA's. I'll dye what's left black on that part of the dash, then I'll powdercoat my own set black then to really pull the second gen-ish look off.

How soon will another run be ready? I wanted to get in on the initial run but it doesn't look like it will happen.

They stay in well enough that if you don't have fingernails, you might need a small screwdriver to pop them loose. The few dashes I've test fitted around here have all been exactly the same tight fit as in my dash. If anyone has problems, a small dab of silicone around the back side of the ring would take care of it, but I doubt that would be to big of a problem unless GM's production differences were just plain horrid.

I've already been in contact with the manufacturer and we're looking into ways of extending my purchasing power. Once that is complete, we'll have a 2-3 week window just like we did on this first order. If things go as well as I forsee, we shouldn't have any problems making future runs right away. I'll let you guys know when it's the last run.

One more question...you said it covers up half the hash marks...does it cover up the gauge needle at all as well?

Since it only covers up half of a hash mark, you can still see where the needles are at, all the way through the range on the upper edge of the gauges.

I would love a set of these but I just had to pay 300 to have my car fixed so I guess I won't get them from this batch but the next batch of them I will definitly get a set of them.

Price lowered due to some competition. Price matched at $130 a set shipped.
