trying to re-install rear seats
I want to keep most of the roll cage that was in my car, but I need to cut out a couple of cross braces in the back seat area to put the back seat back in to get ready for the Power Tour. Don't worry, I do not plan to race the car, it makes the chassis feel solid as a rock. My question is how is the bottom seat hels in? I see how the bench bolts in, but how does the bottom stay in? A couple of close up pics of how the seat mounts would be great, also. Thanks.

Well my 92 Z28 just has a single bolt in the middle of the seat bottoms (in the front bottom middle part of the seat) and they attach to the floor. I think they are all the same.

I am not removing the cage. I just want to notch out a couple of the inner braces that block the rear seat area. I have to get a carseat in there for my 14 month old! They say "take a kid to a car show", well what better way to do it than on the Hot Rod Power Tour!
I will get some pics of how the cage goes threw the dash shortly.

Here is a couple of the dash. Please excuse the dirty carpet. I will try to get a couple of better ones if you need it. Feel free to email me if you need them.

does the AC still function? just wouldn't want to be a 14mo old in a hot thirdgen in the summer.

1LE has the A/C delete. I am having a Vintage Air A/C unit installed.
With a little hot rod engineering, I think I can make it work.

Thanks for the pics. I'm getting ready to install my cage. Hopefully, I'll have it installed in time for the power tour. Is that a chassis engineering cage? Ronnie

Thanks for the compliments on the cage. I wish I knew who to give credit to, the cage was done before I bought the car. Who ever did it was an artist. It looks even better in person. The welding to the chassis is outstanding. I am about half way done putting the baby seat in the back. I will post pics when completed.
