fixed back seats? lets see em!

Is anyone silly enough to have put a fixed back racing seat into a street car? I'm thinking thats something id like to do but even on the corbeau webpage in their gallery not a single car has a fixed back seat.

I was thinking something along the lines of the corbeau FX1 pro

EDIT: and before you say what about your back seats?!?! theyre already pulled out and a cage is going in soon

even with my cage i have adjustable seats, the non-adjustable are so uncomfortable for a street car of any calibur. if it's track only that's a different story. i have plenty of vehicle pictures with fixed seats but nothing in a thirdgen.

I keep hearing the same thing but how could racing seats be THAT bad if people sit in them and race for a couple hours at a time? My camaro never sees longer then 30 minute trips, 45 minutes max. The car will see some track time it just seems like a better alternative so that my harness doesnt rub on the normal seats and wreck the seats over time. Plus i think they look cool.

everyones different indeed... try them out and see how you like it. i like the option to be able to move the seats, they make full adjustable racing seats. while slightly heavier and more costly the option to me is important. everyone is different but you need to see it first hand to really get a feal.

thats part of my problem living in canada. They dont have a single dealer that has display models up here. Not sure how i would ever make up my mind without actually being able to sit in one.

and adjustability is not important in the seat for me. No one but me ever drives the car and i prefer to have my seat always where im used to it being
