Anyone have the part numbers to the left and right blinker return springs? Searches came up with nothing.

No, they're springs in the steering column, somewhat L shaped with a spring loop at the corner of the L. Yes, they do make the blinker turn to off.

They're not in the switch, they're in the column itself. I don't know the names of all the parts in there, but they sit in a round plastic piece that you can remove from the column. I've swapped them before but the ones I put in a while back are now going bad, so I wish to get new ones instead of used. If they come as part of a bigger PN, that's fine too, as long as I can get new pieces. I just need the PNs though.

You definitely do not have to swap the switch, as I replaced mine last week. I live across the road from a chevy dealership and just asked the parts guy for them. He brought out a box full of them, and I'm not sure they're even Camaro specific. The right side spring is red, the left is blue. I have a few spare sets as well (since they cost me $3 CDN/set) but there's no indication of a P/N since they're loose. I'd suggest simply going into a dealership and asking for them. If you have no luck, I can go ask across the road tomorrow and find out for you.

If you have Paypal, I'll happily take a set off your hands.

Yup second set. This car was not maintained at all prior to me buying it. Everything went bad on this car. Both return springs broke so I pulled them out of my old 84 Sport Coupe. Now one of those is broken.

I think I'll just go to a dealership around here. I noticed you're in Canada, RestoRoc89, and I don't plan on paying shipping for that. LOL

hehe, yeah, I figure it's probably not worth 20 bucks brokerage to get some springs. Your dealer should have them quite cheaply. It's a part the wears out with surprising frequency. Sometimes they just fall out into the steering column as well.

The assembly is called a "Canceling Cam" and the springs are called "Preload Springs"...GM Universal...you can get 'em at any parts store in the HELP boxes
