...Racing Stripes Or Two Tone...

i was set on a two tone paint job for like 2 months now, and now its getting real close to getting it painted, and i'm startin to second guess myself....I still feel two tone would look real badass, especially the idea I had (check my cardomain page, bottom of first page)...but then i was looking at thirdgen's with nice fat racing stripes....and I love the look...i got an ss hood, so I think i would make the stripes kind of curve around the ss hood, but i'm not sure...i don't like when stripes just go and cut up the ss hood lines...it doesn't look right....and i like the nastagic look of racing stripes too....with the two tone, my idea was black on top with blacked out windows, then bright red on the bottom, cut with a silver line, muhc like the one on my cardomain page...then with racing stripes it would have to be bright red car with either black or silver stripes...i think nice sparkly silver stripes would look neat with my polished alum 18's....its two very good paint ideas, but I'm just caught in the middle of the two and don't know which one to pick...cuz its gonna be around 2 grand or more to paint this thing, I want it to look real nice and stand out from the crowd...

When the last third gens came out with the anniversary edition, I really liked the panel stripes on the hood and deck, that's my vote.

i don't like the heritage stripes....not enough stripe for me....they gotta be nice and fat, and go all the way down the bumpers and whatnot...I like the look of stripes, but alot of people have them...not as many people have 2 tone, especially the way I would do it....

Whats wrong with Ann. stripes????? Haha Im biased.
I think the two tone is cool, the design on your page with the orange upper. Not orange itself so much as the way it was executed. Dare to be different dude! If you dont take a chance then you will probably regret it.

The ratio to thirdgens (or cars in general even) with racing stripes to two-tones is like 20 to 1. Everyone and their mom has stripes (including me haha) but a two-tone would stand out more, and if done right, they look so much better and unique.
