Interior metal clips? for plastic panels under dash???

Looking for those little metal clips that you use on both driver and passenger sides that you clip onto the plastic panels that go below the dash (by your feet)

I think they are different sizes on the drivers side and the passenger side, but they are just these little metal things you put on there and then snap up the panel.

Where can i purchase these????????????????????

thanks in advance!

I've never seen a f-body with snap in clips for the under dash panels. They have all been held in by screws.

The piece under the dash that slids on for the screw to go in are available at Advance or Autozone, or prolly any other auto parts store.

I'm asking the same question in another thread, and keep getting similar responses. Everyone keeps telling me they have never seen one that doesn't use screws. Aarrgg it shouldn't be this difficult!

any GM dealer has a huge bin of them, just bring in the piece and they will match it up.... and may give them to you for free depending on how many you need.

If they give you BS and say that they dont have any, tell them that you called, spoke to someone and they said that they have a bunch of them... sometimes they dont like to give them out because it is not an inventoried part, they are there for the mechanics that break them when they take cars apart.

I've actually searched through the clip bins at 3 chevy dealerships to no avail. They didn't have anything close, even after one of the guys assured me they would have them. All I saw were the pancake+screw type clips.

Anybody got a pic of one of these clips?

I'd be glad to keep an eye out for 'em if I knew what they looked like. Since they appear to be hard to find, I wouldn't mind grabbing any I can for anyone that needs 'em if i find any.

1991 z28 has one to take a picture of, but the other side might use a different size. jimp, you are only and hour and a half from me, so maybe you know of a dealership down here in my neck of the woods where you have definitely seen them?
