Difference btwn 86 and 92 spoiler ???
Does anyone know the difference between the spoilers that are on the backs of the 92 RS and the 85-87? Camaros that didnt have the 3rd brake light. Are the angles the same and are the mounting holes in the same spot ????

The mounting studs do not line up. The angles are also different.
The early spoiler does not cover as much of the decklid.

The 82-86 and 91/92 3 piece spoilers are identical. The 87-90 is a different width as the 3rd lamp is in it.

I was ticked when the 86 spoiler did not match my 89. I had to remove some of the studs in my spoiler. Where is the brakelight in the 91-92 in the window?

It's not like the 3rd brake light is huge or anything. I can see perfectly fine... Thread Starter

Check out nick418's pic above. That's what mine looks like too out of the rear view. It pretty much covers up the entire lane behind you when u look in the rear view....
