Been wanting to do this forever and finally got started on it tonight. Went to the junkyard Sunday and scored some headlights for free complete with bulbs and connections. These are 88 celebrity lights which mount a little different than the Monte Carlo LS headlights. The lens is still the same as them though. Still have to fab up a bottom bracket for this one plus the other 3 for the passenger side. Yes I know the paint is chipped on the sharp corner baby needs a new paintjob badly but wanted to get this mod done first.

More pics to come when complete.

I'll get more pics when it's done... Throws out a brighter beam than the old lights. That's another major reason for doing this, to have better lighting.

That's one of those things that no one will ever notice, but it's the little things that make a great car. I like it. Finish it soon to post up pics.

I'll get a couple new pics tomorrow. Did up 2 more brackets for the top mounts for the passenger light tonight. Looks much better with both headlights in now. Still need to do the bottom brackets and modify the stock headlight bar to fit back in plus wire them up.

OMG EvilCartman I love your Carbon Fiber hood man!

Well all I got to say is that there are days that I like that mod and days I hate it but who cares its not my car.

Just reminds me of a buldged eye look that someone would give you if you peed on their carpet lol.

It's just a Harwood 3 inch fibreglass hood Was going to paint my car last year but never got around to it. Gonna try again for this year.

As for doing a write up, I'm not good at doing those so I'll just post whatever info in here. Mounting points so far are just the top brackets still, haven't had the chance to finish anything up. Basicly it's 1/8 inch thick aluminum plate bent into a |__| shape. One side bolts to the car while the other side has a hole to recieve the pin on the back of the headlight. There's a clip that fits on the pin that holds the headlight to the aluminum bracket. For the bottom there's a single bolt and I still have to fab up something for there. Probably finish everything off over the weekend when I have more time.

Yep, one of the reasons I had to get them from 2 different cars. Someone decided to be a nice person and shatter one of them. There's I think 4 to 6 clips that hold the glass lens to the body of the headlight.

I have a chance to get a set free from a junked 1989 Caprice...just not sure if they are the same size or not.But they are glass like the Celebrity ones you have.Kinda unsure about the mod for my car..I like it on your car though.

Did you just splice in the Celebrity headlight pigtails to your original harness?Or did you make a whole new harness like in the Tech Articles?

Here's my headlights. I converted the sealed bem to an H4 bulb, and they included "city lights" that make the headlights glow when the parking lights are turned on. The "city lights" are a 194 bulb inside the headlight housing.
