I know I know. I searched it up and didn't find what I was looking for. Does anybody know the step by step process of makin a 4th gen console fit into a 3rd gen? I just got a 99 Trans Am console and want to exact fit it into my 87 IROC. I took out the seats for easy access. It looks like it needs a lot of work to make it fit right. The cup holder on the passenger side has like 6 inches of clearance from the floor. So yea, can anybody run me through what you have to cut and trim. And how to mount the stock stereo holder back in? Thanks
