OK guys, the time has come for me to get some new GTA emblems. My bird has gone naked for far too long. The car is flame red metallic and originally came with bright red GTA emblems (yes this did actually happen on early GTAs, it's not a fluke). I've been thinking about the flame red metallic emblems though.

Post pics if you've got a flame red metallic GTA and any color GTA emblem. Black, blue, red, other red, whatever. I need to make a decision and don't have the pics to decide.

i like the bright red better tons more, but on ur dark red it want look right, but the other metalic will

 

here's an old pic (see date and wreck) with the old paint and old emblems. I always liked this pic, even though the damage is pretty bad.

 

My flame red 88 got the bright red emblems from the factory too. I've seen the flame red ones in person and personally I like them better. They're much deeper in color and have the same metallic flake in our paint. Here's a few shot of mine, wish I had some better shots of the emblems.

Put the correct ones on , Flame Red, correct and look the best on the deeper red. GM must have brain farted to ever put the bright red ones on there.

 

Mine is the WA 8774 colour and I like that one better than the colour that has been posted so far. The emblems are close if not an exact match, too late now to take a pic, dark outside. Like the prev. poster said, match the emblems with the right colour paint.

 

Chet - I absolutely adore your car. I have ever since I've seen it on these boards.

Just so everybody knows - I got a set of the flame red ones and am now waiting patiently by the door for the UPS man to come....even though it'll probably be a wek
