deadbird, that is a very valuable site you have there! That will be very useful this spring when I fix the previous owner's half *** collision repair job.

not sure about camaros but i had one from a 92 i wanted to use because it was in really good shape but it wouldnt work on my 85.....the honeycombs pushed out on the bumber cover and you could see it through the cover the ends on the 92 were straight and the 85 ends were cut at a 45 degree angle.....it bolted right up though, just had problems with the bumper cover......i could have probably use it with a little cutting but it was just as easy for me to send the right one to be sandblasted

Has anyone removed their front impact bar? It would free up some weight, but has anyone done it? I'm considering doing it.

It ties your front frame together and immensely helps distribute impact energy thru the whole car instead of directly wherever you get hit.....

But what goods safety pieces.. dead weight apparently
