Recovering visors?

So Im in the middle of recovering the headliner, and I am doing it a different color, so I really need to recover the visors too. This looks a lot harder than I thought it would be at first. Anyone done this themselves before? I dont want to have to pay for someone else to do it.

depends what color because it might be easier just buying some nice ones off the classified here or ebay. For example i had red headliner/visors/sail panels i wanted black...instead of recovering it all i got almost brand new stuff from a guy an hour away for only $100. He was parting out the car and had just recovered all of that. I cant really help you as how to recover the visors just thought id let you know what i did.

If what you have is in good shape you might want to try dyeing yours...

Just throwing an idea out there for you... If you put a strip of 5% tint on the windshield you can do what I did and get rid of the visors all together. Then proceed to cover over the two spots on the headliner where the visors bolted in. If you want to keep them though grab some fabric and a can of 3m's spray on glue and do what TheBandit said. However, I believe that most visors had stitches on three of the sides. These wouldn't necessarily need to be there, but would make the finished product look more professional.
