How Easily do the Emblems fall off?!?

Ok guys i have the opportunity to buy one of the rear RS emblems for my car at a pretty good price right now. I dont need one, but i feel that since they are discontinuted it might be wise to get one. My question is, how likely is it that they will ever fall off? My car has 48k miles and has been garage kept (no winters) until i bought it in april. Its still not having any winters but its not inside, its under a car cover.

Do the emblems never fall off or something, or do they fall off after a certain amount of time???

Not a bad idea to fetch one. Not because they fall off, but they may wear and fade over time.

Mine was still stuck on pretty good when I ripped it off for paint. My car has about 130,000 miles, though I don't think that would affect the badges...

Though one of the rocker panel badges was just barely holding on, I'm surprised it didn't fly off.

They don't just fall off which is why you don't see them on the side of the road often.

Nevermind...Seems as if some massive D-BAG sniped it out from under me. I had the only big on it at $9.00 and with less than a miniute left. I refresh it like 2 minutes after it was over and it says i was outbid at 9.50$. He bid with about 10 seconds left. I sent the guy a really nasty message. And hes been buying up tons of emblems and ****, i bet that SOB is gonna try to sell that for like $50 now. I'm really ****ing pissed now.

What a jerk, paying more money and all. People that want to bid higher than me should be banned from ebay.

when i reapainted my car i removed the emblems. the bumper one was held on real good. the ground effect emblems had nothin holdin em on. usually they are held on by speed nuts from behind but i had nothin. just poper em right out. i drove the car for like 10k miles before doing this and i never lost an embelm.

I would have had no problem paying more, but the fact that i wasnt given a chance really pisses me off. I'm probably gonna get banned from ebay if he reports the message i sent him but i just dont care...i really hate *******s like that especially when its obvious he doesnt even have a camaro. I looked a this history and he bought about 20 things from the person selling the emblem (who only sells GM NOS emblems). Looks like hes stockpiling and planning on selling them at a much higher price in the future. **** pisses me off!!!!

You shouldnt have to worry about the emblem falling off, they stay on pretty good, especially the rear one. But its your fault for not getting the emblem. You should have put your max bid higher than 9 bucks if you really wanted it. He did the smart thing and waited till the end so the price wouldnt drive up. Thats usually how ebay auctions work...
