1aauto aftermarket Dash Pad? Yes/No?

I found this on 1aauto.com and was wondering if anyone has tried one. I know that most aftermarket parts and non-GM related parts are crap, don't fit, or both.

Anyone have anything else they want to add?

It's a cover. Not a dash pad. Thin piece of plastic that you glue over your existing dash pad. I haven't tried the dash cover, but I did get the center arm rest cover, just haven't put it on yet.

thats what it is.

Don't get one if your car sees the sun at all. The warranty is viod if you let the sun shine on it. It says you MUST keep a shade over it to block sunshine, or it will cup and warp.

That sucks. What's our options to replace the dash pad with something that looks decent, but won't crack?

It "looks" good, much better than my cracked arm rest. I just have it pushed down over the pad right now. I want to see how the stiffer plastic feels before I glue it down, might not like it.

Check out JustDashes.com They restore will restore your own dash. New foam and vinyl. Be warned they are not cheap! They do a great job though.

I'm about to fiberglass my dash pad. Just gonna brush some resin on it, sand it down, and paint it to match the exterior color of the car.... only thing that sux is the reflection I'm gonna have.
