91-92 Aero Wing Repair Cost
91-92 Aero Wing Repair Cost
I bought a wing off E-bay but when it showed up, one of the tips was broken off. I need to file a claim but they need to know the cost of repair (if possible). Does anyone have an idea what this would cost to fix?

It may be cheaper to get a brand new fiberglass spoiler??? I dont know what the 91-92 spoilers are made out of but the 87-90 spoilers are a very heavy rubber crap that warps and is almost impossibe to fix
Did the person do a crappy job wrapping it up? sometimes people using ebay can rip you off

Who did you buy it from on Ebay. I bet it was the same ****er that I bought mine from. Put his name in this thread so people won't get ripped off anymore.
Mine came just like yours, except both tips were destroyed. And only one was in the box. I am actually gonna try and transplant the '85-90 style rubber tips on the plastic one.
I had a shop estimate that was over $600.....unpainted and he couldn't tell me when they would get it fixed

Yeah, could you guys post the seller's name on here? I've seen a guy on eBay who was selling a lot of them, in primer, that he said were new but had slight defects and were therefore taken off of cars before they were sold? If it is the same guy, I guess I am glad that I didn't buy one.

I bought a spoiler for my 91 T/A from that guy that you're referring to on ebay with the factory take-off spoilers that had minor defects...mine arrived in near perfect condition, the only blemish being what sort of looks like part on the spoiler where the clearcoat didn't adhere too well. Other than that, it was perfect, even the same color as my car.

Navy, I doubt it was the same guy. Anyway here is some of his info: Don't know how long this will be on here before this is deleted, but no one on here should be ripped off $225+ dollars because of a lie with an unrepairable wing.
Ebay ID is: Suicidexm

Some other email is: SpeckledWombat.something
Watch out for him.

Yeah, this one of the factory take-offs. The seller seems helpful right now. The break is definitely repairable its just going to cost me. I'd like to see UPS pay up for something that's their fault and I won't get off their case until they do.
