Hybrid Question - Weather Stripping and Gauges

I am getting very excited about my car. My new cash income has allowed me to begin purchasing, customizing, and upgrading my car. So some things I have always been interested in upgrading is my Gauges seeing as how I have stock 85m/h RS ones. Are there specific replacment kits or is everything I am seeing custom work? I'm aiming towards the deep set in gauges with chrome/silver walls. Any sites or info would help me out alot.

Also my t-tops leak but only when the car is on certain angles on my hill...also varys on the direction rain is blowing in...go figure. But none the less they are much better than most cars of have looked at. Is there any aftermarket weather stripping that provides a tighter better seal than the factory?

PS : My leak is like not even a 1/4 cup of water from each side. And only about 20% of the time it rains...

Don't purchase aftermarket weather stripping unless it is soft seal. They are the closest to factory fit. Alot of other users has had problems with other brand. If you are not going GM, then go soft seal, or go nothing...

is the stripping dried out? if so that can cause leaks, use silicon spray on them to bring their fullness back. also u can adjust the ttops that is a big cause of leaks too.

Ok my stripping is in extremely good condition. It only leaks 20% of the time it rains, and only on certain angles (me and my father beleive its cause we live on a hill and when I park the car facing a certain way the water pools). It is in no way dried out. I've been told that people complaind back in the day that they leaked out of factory and my dad said I'm lucky they are so good. Adjusting sounds like it may help me. How do you adjust your t-tops position?

Definitely ONLY get the softseal from A1Auto. They are great people- I've gotten a few things from them.

Also - you could do the Nordskog gauges. I'm in the process of collecting them so I can have my new custom panel installed....

THe speedo is hanging in there in this pic and now I have a CSR Water temp gauge. I went with it because it does way more than the Nordskog... I'm also waiting on the Tach but it's been on backorder for a month.

Jams right, i havent tried them myself yet, but those who have cant say enough great things about A1auto, but i would still try adjusting the ttops first. its kind of a hit and miss process too. i would get a hose with an adjustable nossle that would have the "shower" setting, so u dont have to wait for rain to come and go for each test. just a thought. lol
