T-top holder

Did any of the 3rd gen camaros or firebirds come with a holder in the hatch area like the 4th gen's do? I am afraid the glass is going to break one of these days if the two tops hit each other hard enough.

My 1991 Firebird owner's manual shows both the bag and 4th gen style plastic holders. So I think they must have been an option at some point. Mine has the bags though...

I wonder if a 4th gen rack would work.

I have exactly that too...minus one of the straps that holds it to the back of the car (I just have one...the other one was missing when I got the car). It doesn't bounce or anything when strapped down.

I remember someone here had the bright idea to mount a 2x4 in his hatch, and then cover it with fur.
