where can i find stock options? (is it rare)

i just recently purchased an 87 iroc and what i thought was wered at first was it was a 5.7 and 5spd now i reasearch third gens alot so i knew that the tranny was changed because the vin # shows it to be a stock 350 but as i do a tear down i cant see any signs of not stock wiring and the dash has the upshift light and still the 145 speedo and the upshift light works fine. i tried to find the rpo codes the the center armrest is not original it was replaced also it has the a/c delete option radio delete 4 wheel disk and posi traction soo could this be a 1LE car?? also is there anywhere i can find codes to see what it did come with stock to find out if i have a diamond in the rough or if some one just worked there butt off to make a 5spd swap look flawless??
Thanks

Axle/Gears: 3.42 or 3.73..figuring it out still
I wouldn't find it that unbelievable that someone may have taken their time and done the 5 spd swap properly...

send an email to this address, asking for a restoration packet. give them your VIN#, full name, telephone #, and mailing address. they will give you a nice amount of info that is VIN# specific. i got one for my Z28 and it tells you just about everything you wanna know. you might ask them your questions in the email as well as i'm sure they can answer them in great detail

anyways, here's the email address: cac@chevrolet.com

You can go to a chevy delership and give them your vin and they can giv you the rpo codes then you can go to GM RPO Codes to decode them if the rpo decoder isnt up on here yet

Check the glove box in the back hatch, there should be some RPO codes in there.
