I was trying to change the gas struts for the hatch and upon applying pressure on the strut-hatch bolt, the head promptly snapped off, leaving the rest of the bolt stuck in there. Getting a replacement bolt should be fairly easy, but what should I do to get the rest of the bolt out?
BTW, since I'm making a topic I'd just like some clarification on some stuff I've been a bit confused about. I'm trying to update my Sports Coupe to Z-28/IROC body style. I have no specifc preferences as to the 91-92 aero style gfx or the 85-90 gfx - my decision would simply be based on what would be the cheapest. Now I've noticed that there are 2 fender styles, 82-90 and 91-92. I can't make out any differences and I would like to know if either fender would fit either style (85-90/91-92).

the only differences between the 2 styles is the scoops on the 91-92 GFX

drill it out and re-tap it.
Penerating Oil and Vice Grips would work except the bolt is recessed into the hole. Theres nothing to grip onto. As for drilling it out and retapping, that was kinda my last option...I was hoping for an alternative.
BOLT EXTRACTER! As for the fenders i believe the difference has to do with the 91-92 GFXs verses the earlier type.So if $$ is your main concern stick with the earlier design.

Ive got the sears 4pc, but ive also seen some at harbor freight.You can probably find some at places like home depot too....The fenders are interchangeable,but the GFXs are not(w.out modificationas anyway)
