Don't do it, if you are going to paint have a body shop paint them or buy the right color of interior IMHO What color are you doing?

I painted mine...over a year ago and it still looks great. My car is for shows only...so the plastic is never touched. I could see how the paint wouldn't hold up with if the plastic was touched alot.

My dad painted the interior in his old truck and it did have a lot of chipping/peeling problems. Isn't there a dye you can spray on? I think it's a lot more durable.

Plasti-Kote makes "Vinyl Color" it works good if you have blue, red and black lol, that's the only colors I can find.
You can use it on plastic and carpet just follow the directions
!

BTW-- The red and black are an EXACT shade match for my '92...........

I wouldn't paint too many things if I were you. There's some great deals on ebay, look it up.

Of course, sickness is always an exception to the rules. He could probably re-write Newton's Laws of Motion if he wanted to.

I painted all my red plastic to black...only chips if you took a hammer to it...painted it all with Krylon Fusion. I definently recommend it as long as you do good preping and let it cure well. Even the door sils/kick panels that see feet all the time are perfectly fine on my car.

I painted mine with the same stuff Sickness used. A year later, no chips. But again, my plastics never get touched either.

I just redid my plastics and I used Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric Coating and I must say it worked perfect. Looks brand new.
