I think it's been around for a while. The exterior looks awesome, it looks nothing like a camaro but its definitely not supposed to.

Another brilliant comment from the Midwest...

I believe that there is now an Evo II kit being made. Either way, both kits are definitely unique. Theres a member floating around on here that has the Evo I kit installed - do a search and see what comes up.

Lol I think you intellectual capacity speaks for itself looking for a body kit for something considered a muscle car!? Only muscle car I know of supposed to be wearing a body kit is something in a Trans Am race or 24 hour le mans race. Some of you guys up north are a little maybe the air is a little thinner up there?

To each his own.

Personally I don't think muscle cars and body kits work, unless the body kit accentuates the original body lines. But thats just me.

Well, first of all, its not a body kit. Its a kit car that uses the 82-92 f-body as the platform. So its not like you're putting a bodykit on a muscle car. Its like you're using the muscle car chassis as a frame for a kit car. Second, our cars come with body kits stock. What do you think the GFX on our cars are? They may not be flashy and all curvey like the kits you night see on some Imports, but hey its still aero parts attached to the body. At some point you're going to have to accept that muscle cars have evolved into sports cars. If you look at any "muscle" within the past decade you'll find that majority of them have aero parts, aka body kits. Taste is a different issue entirely. I personally think the kit could look really really good if done right. I mean good enough where people won't know its a Camaro, they won't know what it is (which I think is the point). I haven't seen one that I thought was done right yet, some were close. Just my personal opinion.

I agree with crazy...the kit would take alot of work to look the way it is advertised...not to mention it is very costly

...how the hell did this turn into a 'region' rant?!

I thought about the same thing last night. The EVO is more of a "kit car". Completely different body, dash/interior. Like I said before, put an LSx in it and someone will have a pretty sweet ride.

As for the region comments, I just felt like calling out the finest that the midwest has to offer!

I agree 100% with crazy the f-body is simply a base for the evo body. If that was released as a whole separate car then alot of people would be drooling over it, but since it's on our beloved f-body chassis its suddenly rice. I guess e-rants are a popular as cow tipping out that way.

That thing needs a twin turbo minirammed 383 and a t56....13.5" tires out back could make for a pretty serious ride.

so if you have nothing to contribute to the topic, why not just report the thread to the mod to get it locked, instead of making a IBTL statment to get your post count up?

Hey crazyhawaiian, what color is your car in your sig? Is that SOM, been looking for a color to paint my gta and that looks pretty damn sharp....I dont know if I agree that muscle cars have evolved into sports cars though. Muscle cars have evolved with time, just like everything else, but I still feel there is a very big difference between sports and muscle cars.

They have... I've been in close contact with the manufacture for quite a while, seriously considering buying this kit. The manufacture has two left in stock, which they are clearancing out... $5800 for shipping and all hardwire. The business has opened a new location and is trying to clear inventory. This kit looks MUCH better than the EVO I kit, I actually like this EVO II kit, looks alright, very unique.

Well like most project cars they are never done and like most of mine I am never satisfied. I completed my EVO at the end of last year and now I'm stripping the interior and pulling the motor. I'm changing the interior ( back half and seats over to fourth gen and all the gauges and complete car wiring over to fourth gen and putting in a LT1. The only way my car has been recogized as a 3rd gen is the guages and the shifter plate. So I'm going to change that look to.

Say what you will but building and creating something different is why I done this to start and before you bash me this is my 5th camaro I have owned and the only one ever moded to this level.

Kit cars, by far, are not easy. This would be in the same boat as the Factory Five Cobra kit. Based on a Mustang chassis. I'll probably end up doing one of those soon, but I think I'm going to go with an older truck based one first. Or maybe a warlock if I really want to have something guady...

I did see one for the F-bod, actually only for the chicken line, about 5 or 6 years ago that I liked so much I almost bought the molds. The guy had spent so much on preparing the kit, he ran out of money. Wish I still had the info, it was for a Ferrari 308 gts. Beautiful car, thought he never did do the interior iirc. Guy was located in NH I think.
