One thing that bothered me on my '92 RS (besides the slow 305 TBI
) was the interior. Is wasn't badly ripped or anything like that, but things like seat fabrics and headliner started to worn out. Plus, the seat cushion got kinda 'deflated', so any trips over an hour turned to be really uncomfortable
. I couldn't really afford a nice aftermarket seats or the complete reproduction seat cover from Hawks, so I started to look around the local junkyard. I found a pair of front seats from '04 Cavalier Coupe with only 8K miles (wrecked front end). The seats are immaculate and direct bolt on to the Camaro's seat frames/rails. They're really comfy and matched quite well with the rest of the interior. Here are some pics:

The next item is headliner. For this one, I bought the ABS headliner from Hawks. Very happy with it.
I also replaced the dome light with one from Chrysler minivan (never a big fan of the stock dome light) and the sunvisors from early '90 Cavalier (or Beretta, not sure...). Rearview mirror is 4th gen's. Some pics:

I know these are not a major interior reconditioning (like some of you awesomely did!), but it helps my interior looking newer and making long trips more pleasant
If you have somilar interior refreshing project, please post it!!

Very nice, the seats look a bit out of place, but Im sure the comfort level makes up for that.

I know that the pics aren't very clear in showing the color, but the headliner and sunvisors are actually black (in reality they don't look that mismatched in color). So the bottom 1/2 of the car is tan, the upper 1/2 is black. I'm quite fond of that color combo actually. Plus the black headliner won't look dirty easily Originally Posted by CYARS92

i got those same seats in my GTA. prior owner did it. they are soooo comfortable. i am always looking for a good deal on some leather to match the stock rears though.

Looks really good! I like those seats. I need to see if I might be able to find something similar, because my front seats are in pretty bad condition and I am in the same boat with a pretty small budget.

Looks great and you gave me an idea on how to fix the oversize hole I cut in my headliner...
