plz uz teh srch on teh boardz... therz woot thredz wit kitz.

There are no widebody kits available that I know of. The closest that you could come to one was the Evoluzione series of kit cars, but they have been discontinued and are no longer available.

Duke, he/she just asked if there was one available. Everybody has their own taste, so let's try not muddy up this thread with arguments on what one can/can't do to his car.

Why the open hostility? Best just answer the question -A simple "No" would suffice- and leave. In my short time here I've seen more open flaming here than I have almost everywhere else.

People come in here every day and ask the same, redundant questions that have been answered 10,000 times, that is why!

Don't forget the danko inferno or whatever it's called. It has fender flares that turn it into a wide body.

I don't know why everybody is SO ADAMANT about people not moding their cars on here. They react like somebody just made a joke about their momma.

Personally (and I know this isn't really the place for personal opinion ... but), I welcome mods. I like MY cars all original 'cause that's what will bring the money down the road, and the more cars that are destroyed by ugly mods that nobody would want after they're done with them ... then the more rare my car will be and the more it will be worth.

So, I say let them ugly up their cars and I'll reep the benefits.

People have different tastes, but really... These cars are wide as it is.
But an IMSA look would be cool for a track car.

Motion Performance made one in the early 80s, and I'm pretty sure its still available. I found an 84 TA with a widebody kit on it at Pull-A-Part about two years ago that actually looked nice...it had fiberglass front fenders and quarters with a subtle bulge, along with a rocker ground effect piece to join them. The back edge of the fender lip and the front edge of the quarter had the 2nd gen TA style GFX pieces molded in. I spent about three hours removing the kit (unbolting the front, cutting and banging on the original steel quarters), and still have it. I paid about $120 for it. It looks like the Motion kit, but more subtle. I'll use it eventually, probably on a convertible with messed up quarters.

I think that is the Motion kit...mine is far more subtle, someone who doesn't know F-bodies would hink it came that way.

God you are a ignorant something. Disgusting. Its called taste. I like wide body kits but the ones to buy for the Camaro are ugly for real, otherwise I would do it. Doesn't matter where the car is built. Stupid people really.

Once a Trans Am surpasses a certain level of AMAZING..proper language is no longer adequate in the process of providing a description
