I dont have any pics right now, but the gap is about half an inch on the passenger side. It is not even noticable by 99% of people who look.

Definately a gap, plus the seats I had didn't have the velcro strip so they wouldn't stay down.[IMG][/IMG]

They are also a little lower, but I guess that isn't too obvious for other than us vert owners:

DANG Ken,
That is one heck of an improvement, I also had that exact same interior in my car (hated it) swapped to black and threw everything in the garbage.

Thanks guys! Yeah, Im pleased - although I still haven't managed to finish it by recovering the door/side panels in a matching neutral color... I hope to get it done this summer though.

Two more shots (sorry for drifting off topic ):

vs.

EthanL,
Im sorry - do not have any comparing shots showing the side gap.

yeah ive got 4th gen camaro seats and there is a gap but it has never really bothered me at all.

Hey ken I just noticed...on your doors there is a little 4" extension of the side trim that is attached to the top rear of your door. Guessing that came as apart of the choo choo conversion. I like the way it looks.

wish asc had done that

Sorry guys, IMHO, they look like an interior job gone bad.

Again, just a humble opinion.

Hey,

Thanks. It was the same on ASC's 87 (and 86s for that matter), so it is not a Choo Choo thingy. Those extensions and the narrow 3rd brakelight are dead giveaways for an 86/87 convertibles.
