They've used third gen's a couple of times on that show. They were nice ones too it hurt me inside to see them get all smashed up. Why couldn't they waste mustangs instead.

If you look at the cars closely you can see dents all over them, but with a fresh coat of paint.

I couldn't watch, I recognized the taillights and then my heart sunk...

I guess that means even less thirdgens in driveable condition...

Oh no! they're killing off 3rd gens! So what. There's plenty more out there getting smashed up every day in regular car accidents.

Amen to that. And did you guys see how well they held up in the demolition derby? I noticed those bumpers were still hangin on after a few solid hits. And then I remembered that one time my friend backed out of my drive way too fast in her Honda and the bumper popped off. I was proud.

It still hurts inside though.

Well, I saw a lot of grid lights, and a few of the older (my style) of Z28 lights that aren't grid, but have the one black bar..

I hated the rear endeings with the grid lights.. Gah.

wow.... ok, picture this... you are a contestant on FEAR FACTOR (shut up and stop laughing) and after you ahve jumped through the hoop of fire on a bycicle, and eaton a bunch of maggots they give you the final fear challange.

"you guys have to jump these camaros from one movingf truck to another"
ME: kick ***!!!

thenyou get to drive a car you are intimatly familiar with at break neck speed up a ramp and onto a truck or somthing, and if you **** it up... it's not your car!!!
you would have 1 up on all the other contestants.

One thing that always surprises me, especially with tonights episode of Fear Factor, is why at demolition derby's you see people run head first into other cars. Wouldn't they realize that by running head first into another car would mean that you're gonna damage the engine a lot quicker and thus be disabled? I always kinda figured it would be smarter to go in reverse, at least that way you can still drive around even if your back end is all bashed in.

After Dukes of Hazzard came out (the movie) the dodge chargers value grew extremely rapid!!!! and in the TV show they had to total alot of those cars... now 15-20 years from now our Camaros are going to be kinda rare and be classic cars... thats if the seventh trumpet hasnt been sounded yet.....
