Never done it but much considered it. THe easiest way I've thought of would be to find a donor car... with a simple cut and paste procedure. Old roof comes off new T-bar goes in, you just have to be decent with a welder and grinder.

Someone started a thread about this a few days ago, and if you search the archives you will find other threads as well.

Yes, it is possible. It takes a lot of work.

As I drove to work this morning on the highway in the rain, and I felt a few drops of water on my leg even though I carefully replaced my seals a few months ago, I found myself wishing for a hardtop.

Just enjoy your car as a hardtop, or go and buy a factory t-top car. It's not worth the effort to convert them.

So about this T-top car... you have T-tops and I want t-tops. I have a hardtop and you want a hard top...

So uhhh, wanna trade?

I see your logic.

However, my '92 Formula is pretty rare...only a few hundred made with the L98 and t-tops...only car you could get that combo on in '92.

never thought of doing it like that...Cut and paste, great idea....One of my other third gens was t-top, and i miss it.....Kinda like the ride I have now...so after the subframes are tied, I think I may put it under the knife......
