check out my new hood

I know it isnt painted yet, I just recently go it. I think it looks good now and its going to look sick when I paint it. what do you think?

I know the pics look kinda of low quality but I took them with my cell phone. The hood was from hawks and the hood pins are moroso.

they are there to protect my investment and to keep the hood secure under higher speeds because it is very light and could flutter. Its more for function than style but I understand where you are coming from. Thanks guys

Get the clear headlight covers if you're worried about air lifting the hood. I think they look pretty good. One of our local club members has it on his LS1 91 Z28, and discovered that it is a little lower into the engine compartment, so he had to modify hihs STB mounting brackets, so lower the cross bar to let it hood sit all the way down.

No big deal really. Just something to be aware of.

Im not sure if I want to laugh at this situation or get upset.
First let me say, nice looking hood. now, I also have that same hood on mine. I got rid of the cowl hood since everyone in this area has one and I wanted to be different so I got an SS hood thinking I would be the only one in Eastern MA to have one at least for a little while. Now, I see this post. All, well, I guess we just have good taste. I cant wait to see it all painted up. We should hook this spring again once my sled is finally done. I dont have pics of my hood on the car as of yet. I cut out the back cowl part of it and installed a piece of stainless steel which has holes cut out in for air to escape. It looks real nice nice. Im going to make a stainless grill insert for it too. Keep me updated on your car man.
