it would not be hard to swap over to manual windows , not sure how much wight you would lose cuase you would have to put in the maual hardware into the doors.

if you wanna lose weight get a fiberglass door, but if your gonna put a lexan window in there you gotta get a track system and crank and all that bs. if you wanna really lose weight you can start by removing your hood and replacing it w/ a glass one, but if you REALLY wanna save weight at the track, strip the doors, hood fenders and ground effects. next drop out your dash and console, take off the T-Tops (if equipt) and the headliner too. then you can start by looking at the front end, replace those front tires with something light, like mayb a couple spare tires from a donor car. and since your at it, why not cut away all your trunk space and remove that heavy hatch. cut away your rear bumper and all the electronics as well. now u can go into the engine bay and start removing things like the wiper motor and assembly, all the vents and ducting, get rid of light assembly (fog lights included). strip out everything on the interior including the pass seat and carpet. and get rid of the rear security cover (thing that rolls up...i forget the technical name) and your done. <<<gauranteed better strip times>>>

or you could just get a fiberglass hood...mayb just go for the hood.

youre not going to lose any real weight, the only thing you would be eliminating are the window motors and they are by no means heavy

thats too much work for the minute weight you would lose

bad idea

ppl are such noobs sometimes and come up with some wierd ideas.

jut wanted to say that, for whatever reason i dont knwo why lol

hum

good luck
