How much of the radiator is that tank blocking?
Any heat issues?

O the 4th gen tanks had nothing to do with the radiator being installed. I just happened to do them when I put the rad. in.

The 4th gen washer tanks go in front of the plastic shroud that directs air to the radiator, so it doesn't block the airflow at all.

Just found this and am working on the same swap. Do you have any better pics of the hood latch support? Having difficulty getting that to fit in there just right with the washer fluid bottle. Did you have to notch it out, or just bend it a little out of the way?

The washer tank is so easy to do. I bought one and did it in like 30 min. without any help other than I heard some people have done it. Nothing hard to fig out.

I beleive some years differ but I can say my 91 did not require modifications to the hatch support. BUT I did have to remove the front bumper support arm. I didn't notice any difference in the strength of the bumper. I sat on it afterward myself (230 pounds) with no problems.

As for the battery tray/overflow thats a little more takes a little more layout planing. I will take closer pics if I can remember.

crrllmich, what is the part# on that radiator? Was it a drop in, or did it require modifications?

Re: 4th gen Coolant and Wiper Tank + Summit Alum. Radiator PICS

I had to modify the fan shroud... or what ever its called for an electrical fan.

As for fitment and hookups the top hose is REALLY tight going on. I actualy plan going to a billit hose or something because it worries me.

Also I removed my A/C at the same time so not sure if there was fit issues with the A/C radiator.

I will get more pics up probaly after this weekend as I am installed a non-AC heater box as well.

I wanna do that, but with Pontiacs, it isn't as open. We have a piece of sheetmetal covering that area. It might able to be unbolted, and that 4th gen piece dropped in, but I suspect I'd hafta cut an opening for the filler neck.

Theres a picture of someone doing it with a pontiac on here somewhere. With enough searching you may be able to turn it up.

Here:

400% better then stock, but harder to do the washer tank on the birds.
