new...well newer pic of the slowmaro
found this from the last day before I put her away for winter, back in september, she has tints on her now that I didn't grab a pic of since it was snowing when I took it back off the trailer that day. Let me know what else it might need besides clear side marker lights

Clear side markers...would look sweet because of the color of the car.

no stripes or anything , just paint the headlight buckets black and get the clear lights . If you wanna do something different , get the wheels powdercoated white.

chrome door handles...
no but thanks
headlight buckets are staying blue, they don't look right being flat black on this color car
I'll probably do the clear sidelights when I can find someone who still sells them
Powdercoat my pro stars white? I hope you're kidding
Definately no stripes for this car either.
Anyone know who still sells clear side lenses?

Looks great to me.
It's kinda hard to tell from the picture, but is your Z28 emblem on the gfx under the fender missing? If it is, then that's all it needs.

Also, I think that shade of blue was a good choice, after all I did pick it out.
they will be wetsanded and buffed at a later time and will turn out looking like new again, if not I'll buy those new clear ones that I saw in another post that look amazing.
Got 4th gen door handles yet?
Maybe paint the amber part of the taillight red or black, then wire it up correctly so that only (or all of) the red part(s) flashes when using the blinker/hazards.

4th gen door handles? this car has 35 miles on it since a fresh paint job, no way I'd hack up the rust free perfectly smooth doors for "different" door handles. The taillights are going to be nightshaded shortly and that's the only mod on them probably.

dont have to cut up the doors or anything for the 4th gen door handles, there a direct bolt in, there just a smoother design

who told you that? My buddy firebird383 had them done by the same guy who painted my camaro, he had to have the doors hacked up and metal from the 4th gen door welded in, then make custom door rods for the key to still work. The shape is completely different, no way it just bolts in.

they don't look any different than what is on there now basically. Other than they might mound a little flatter on the door, I don't think I'll do that mod, but thanks for correcting me on it, guess some people have done it.

I want something like an 8pt but want a cross bar from the corner of the hoop to the floor almost making an X behind me. Always liked the look of that. Was going to buy the Comp. Engineering kit and go from there...
I've heard different stories from people on if removable sidebars are illegal for the track, is this true? If not I might do that as well.

Your car looks awesome just as it is. The only thing I would consider doing is lowering it very slightly if you don't mind loosing a little ground clearance and I'm not sure I would even do that. I know how it is lowering a car with LT's ect....my car probably sits a little lower than yours with Hooker LT's and dual exhaust, it can be a PIA.

well actually the nose rubs a bit when it comes off and on the trailer as it is now, so I can't lower it, although I might remove the rear isolators to drop the back another .5" or so. Now for the fronts I'm trying to find some taller radials in like a 28" height, or I guess I'd be stuck driving M/T ET fronts or the like but I heard they sway a lot.
