Help changing out fog lights in 90 Firebird
I did search but did not find an answer so here goes...
Today I got some new fog lights from trusty ole wal mart for $18. Same size/same look (except new!) for my 90 firebird (GTA style) cause my old ones look like crap (17 yrs old...meh).
But I need some advice before I begin please....
-Could someone explain the obvious to me as how to remove my old housing/fog lights and replace & adjust these?? I could just use the new lights w/the old housings or replace the whole thing.
-I do not want o break something like I usually do.
-They are mounted from the top and I need to get to them from underneath right? (thats how it looks anyway).
Any help would be appreciated.
I'll post some pix later....

You can do it without removing your old housings. Just remove the clips on each side that hold the lense in. You may have to pry the lense out as it may be held in with sealant. Install all the new parts into the old housing, provided everything is the same size. May have to splice in your power/grnd from the new to old wiring.

Everything appears to be the same size though. I could just use the new lens assembly in the old housing and splice.
...but I also want to adjust the passenger side as it sits up about 1/4" higher than the other one, any pointers on how to do that correctly??

There should be adjustment screws where the housing attaches under the bumper that will allow you to aim them properly.

I pulled the bottom panel off under the GFX on my TA. It may be different on yours.

here is my weekend project. Will take pix of "in the process" and hope all goes well.
Anything unexpected I should know about? (sometimes there are hidden bolts etc)

Well, I got it done! Although it was fighting me the whole way.
I went in from the front and changed out the lens housing and spliced in the ground (the posi plugged right in). Still need to adjust them as 1 is pointing up....way up so high you can see tree tops!
VERY bright, what an improvement, way brighter than my stock headlights (thats next).
Oh, Forgot my damn camera, but will be doing another night shoot tomorrow so will have some pix then.
-Was going to go underneath, but I forgot my dang socket wrench and wanted it done now!
...and the battery died and almost left me stranded.....but it came back to life somehow!!
