Welcome to the club.

I believe Harwood makes a 4" and 6". Check out the link below. I googled "6" cowl hood" and this is what I got.

Re: 6 inch cowl hood

if it has a roots blower then use a stock flat hood and just cut a hole in it or else it will look weird.

Re: 6 inch cowl hood

its low profile but the block is so big it will stick out of the stock hood 5 inches and it would look weird unless i put a scoop on it but i personaly think the cowls look awesome on 3rd gens. what would you guys do scoop or cowl? i could do ether or but i think the cowls look pretty sweet.

the heads will stick ABOVE the hood line by 5" ??? Or do you mean a roots blower is only going to need a 5" cowl hood? I don't see a 5" cowl hood a roots blower and the carbs to feed that motor along with everything else associated. Look at flirtin1 off this board and how his blown engine looks with a stock flat hood and a cutout, the cowls just don't look right.

Re: 6 inch cowl hood

its a low profile blower they are made for the newer mustangs and they happened to have a kit to make it fit on to the motor i have so it wont stick out like 8 feet haha but the block is really big and sits a little high in the car from my measurments and i personaly think i would look kinda silly if theres only half a blower sticking out and i kinda like the cowl hoods it needs about 5 inches of clearence so i figured i'd give it an extra inch for safe measures.

Re: 6 inch cowl hood

Check with Harwood and Glasstech. Nice hoods and smooth to boot. Several people have them around here.
