will this work? does a 91 have the same nose as 92?

 

All bird noses and bumpers will bolt up

The ground effects must be used for corresponding years and beware that mounting holes for the ground effects moved for each new style

In short, 91-92 nose will bolt up
If you have ground effects you cant use the old ones with the new nose
If the new nose has ground effects you have to redrill holes for them

 

as a matter of fact i had some kid in an old 82-84 v6 bird with like a 90 nose on it try to race me yesterday so yes it can be done.

 

actually i want like the nose off of a trans am from like 85 or whenever they changed from what mine looks like, of couse mine is a s/e not a ta

 

you will have to get the ground fx for the bumper but it will fit.

 

yeah i kinda figured that...hm how long did they make the s/e for? and did the nose change on the s/e anytime after the 84 one? a s/e will probally be easier to find than a trans am at my boneyard

 

the only one that i know of will be the one on the base Firebirds. It'll bolt right up and basically looks like the one you have now but no grille inserts, just regular non-grill inserts.

The headlights bezels might have to change as yours are really square and the later ones are a bit different....but its a lot less work then the 1991 or 1992 nose swap.

 

so what year bas model nose do i get for the non grill inserts?
