hey guys trying to find a color to paint my 86 z28 i was thinking a dark Orange Metallic or black with red parl but i cant find pics of one

man i love that color... i was going with orange black 2 tone but i love the way your car looks. Your car has convinced me to keep mine yellow. man stay yellow its your car but there isn't many yellow camaros. Nice camaro check out my '86 Z28... which is funny because thats what mine is and they are both yellow and have irocs lol nice ride. -Matt

 

why are you repainting? just because the hood? I'd keep it yellow if thats what it came from the factory.

no it was silverish and gray i think the guy i got it off had it painted they did an ok job painted in and out the car was a track car so it has little rust just a bit on the roof as for the hood im looking for a 3.5" cowl hood

 

keep the color im painting mine a yelloish mustard color i hade mixed at Home Depot. I bought the rustoleum paint and had them tint it im gonna roll it on. Hey just keep it the same color it looks flawless.

 

lotus has a sweet yellow i just painted one last week looks like mine but with gold pearl

 

if you like black and orange why not black with orange ss stripes?

It looks silver in daylight buy when dusk/dawn it goes real dark silver/grey, the last owner said it was gun metal silver but a fue body shops told me they have never seen the colour b4.

I would actualy like to repaint my car in the same colour because it dose look very good on the car but the paint has lots of cracks and chips in it.
