My New Hood...

This is my new Harwood 4'' bolt on. I pulled the stripes off of the rest of the car now, I'll post some more pics if it ever stops raining. What do you guys think? Paint isn't too bad for a couple of bodywork rookies huh?

Re: My New Hood...

Looks like the paint matches pretty nicely. I like the 2'' more than the 4'' hoods, but that looks nice. The front seems a little high. Did you try adjusting the hood latch to hold it down a bit more? The last few pictures kinda look like they are of miniature models. Kinda cool camera effect

Re: My New Hood...

i am not a big fan of the 4" rise but if you have somthing under the hood to justify it then it works!! and the paint looks good. good match, nice finish!

Re: My New Hood...

I had some fittment issues upfront. I trimmed most of the fiber glass lip put in place for shipment, but I still have about a 3/4" gap upfront. I tried dropping the hinge, but that throws off the bodyline where the hood meets the fenders. I've got a bit more work to do. By the way irockid, I can justify it haha, I'll post some engine pics soon.

try adjusting your bump stops up so the fender lines stay the same when lowering your hinge.

Is your nose sagging on either side of the center body line.
