are you talking about the high rise wing type or the 5" fin type (like on a second gen) ??

 

I was thinking of the wing type off the 3rd gens, however I did look up pics of the 5" and am wondering how that would look too... hmmm choices choices choices

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have seen (though I can't find any pics) of camaros with the 5" second-gen style fin on 3rd gen camaros. I like the look a lot on a camaro, but it may not fit too nicely or look to good on a firebird because the tail lights are different ... the camaro tail lights wrap around the back corner of the car and the fin mounts flush to the lights on the side of the quarter panel. Without the tail light there on a firebird, the fin might just look like it is sticking out and out of place.

I also am a big fan of the high rise wing on the 3rd gen camaro. I have never seen a firebird with one, but it might look pretty sweet.

Where are you buying the pieces from? If you are buying them new and there is a good return policy in place, it might be worth the shipping charges to get them both and mock them up on the car and send back the one that comes in 2nd place.

 

I've seen the GTA wings on Camaros, but never Camaro wings on a TA

I don't think the 5" RS style spoiler would fit a TA very good, because of the lack of the tail wrap wrap-around, like Camaros.

The Hi-Rise might fit visually ok though.

Ugh....I guess I was wrong about a Hi-Rise on a 'bird.

Get a LT1 4th gen rear wing. I got a LS1 4th gen wing & am now on the look out for a LT1 wing. They fit much better.

 

I dunno I kinda like it, its different, not the same old stuff over and over again. I think it will really pop with the louvers and ram air II hood that I'll be putting on her.

It's the 4th gen style bolt on.

You can spend way too much, for a bolt o oe, ot do a little tweaking of your own & spend $100 or less & get an OEM 4th gen one.

The 3rd & 4th gen 3rd brake light plugs are IDENTICAL. A direct plug in.

i dont think it looks half bad. theres a guy who did it to his TA in a town a little ways from me; it looks pretyy good.
