Re: shorty wing

I put the shorty on my 84, I like it sooooo much better then the others too. Plus it has the light in it too.

I believe it was on the 88 might have been 87.

Try craigslist too, maybe you'll get lucky and find someone parting one out.

Re: shorty wing

That is called the SC wing and was only made in 88 as far as I know. It was made for Gm by a company called zenon fiberglass if memory serves me right. The one without the third brakelight would be the "aftermarket" one. RCAR usually has one for sale in the "Parts for sale" forum

The ones I have both have provisions for a third brake light, just that one is missing the light but could easily be inserted or filled with fiberglass if you don't want the light. Both have the mounting studs and rubber gaskets so you don't scratch the body.

Also I think Ray is out of the wings but I got two ready to go.

Re: shorty wing

new studs can be installed with a little epoxy . studs do not have to be exact size as long as you have correct nuts for them . would reccomend cleaning with acetone , apply epoxy to stud and hole , hose clamp to hold in place , let cure well in a dry warm place . good luck .
