Re: Subframe questions????

It would be called left core support reinforcement. It was discontinued around 1995 or so. you will need to get it from a junkyard. Its really easy, I get them all the time....

Re: Subframe questions????

i know this sounds bad but that is only because....it is! but mine was bent pretty bad when i first got my car and i was able to make it fairly straight by jacking/ hammering/ pulling. now it is covered by the battery and you can tell it is still bent but it doesnt draw attention to itself. i am not recomending this over the option of a replacement but if you are short on time and money it will work.

Re: Subframe questions????

If you can straighten it, go for it. If not pm me and I can get it for you. I am in AZ but the part is lightweight so shipping isnt too bad. Let me know. I have a few front clips laying around, so it's no problem...

Re: Subframe questions????

has the other side been pulled in at all? Just because that is bent up a lot, that looks like it took a bloody good hit.

Re: Subframe questions????

if yours is bent even half as bad as the one in the picture then you might have to have a body shop straighten the subframe for you.

Re: Subframe questions????

i think you could get it a lot more straight then it is but it would take a while and no matter how much time you put in to it, it will not be perfect. so if you want it good from far but far from good, fix what you have. if you have the time and money and want it to look better, fix it!
