t/a to formula?
t/a to formula?
i have a 87 firebird formula,but this whole time i thought it was a t/a. the previous owner put a t/a body on it.what do i do to make it look just like aformula body wise.i got the hood.but what else is needed

both bumper covers and the hood, then just pull the gfx off, weld up the holes, bondo and paint.

I like both body styles but it might be a bad idea to change it back to Formula. That's a million holes to weld up in the doors, quarters and rockers ect. It's hard to do that much welding and make it look right with the thin high strength steel panels.

I agree. I actually prefer the look of the Trans Am/GTA and plan on getting one soon but a 305 TPI 5 Speed. I would just leave it and repaint it and put money into the looks or performance instead of changing it back.

I have the same problem, except mine's a 91... I'm just putting it back together T/A style. It also came with a 95 Mustang hood scoop fiberglassed to the hood...
