trans am tail lights

trans am tail lights

I really like the look of the trans am tail lights and was wondering if i could just swap my base model firebird ones for those?

But you'll have to do a little re-wiring to get them to work properly.

or what if i got the tail light harness out of a trans am. would that work? or are they differnt connector on the end? i plan on going to the junk yard sunday so any help before then would be great.

lets start by knowing the year of your car?
I believe any third gen bird will take whatever thirdgen bird taillights you wish to throw at them.
Knowing which t/a tails you're talking about makes a big difference.
There are alot of differences from 82-92.
Like I said,lets start with what you have and which style lights you want.

I have an 88 bird base model, and I would like to put the grid tail lights which I think were used from 85-92.
