I put the ballasts zip tied to the under side of the battery trays on either side. I've always liked HID's in anything I put them in.

That looks good. Thanks for the pics they really help. And did the new bulbs (H4) fit in the stock lights, or is there some mods needed? cause i know that HID bulbs are longer than reg halogen

Thanks! The aim this winter is to make it look as much like stock as possible while making it faster than last years 9.55@ 140 pass.

HID's are worthless without projector headlights. Check this site out: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/index.php
And also keep in mind that if you have an alarm that blinks your headlights when you hit the switch, you will significantly decrease the life expectancy of your HID's. They're not supposed to be blinked on and off quickly. Biggest reason most guys will disconnect the nighttime sensor in newer cars when doing a retrofit.

Ive got Xenarcs in my camaro & the ballast are on the bumper.Just under the hood latch.Ive also got HIDs on both my bikes.Only the R6 has projectors & while the light beam is best on that bike.Regardless the improvent was night & day on all three vehicles.
